"Shortstop Brandon Crawford #35 of the San Francisco Giants makes a diving stop but is unable to make the throw in time to get Michael Cuddyer of the Colorado Rockies at first base at Coors Field on April 12, 2012 in Denver, Colorado. The Giants defeated the Rockies 4-2."
It's that time of the year again and I'm so glad. Before anything else, baseball was and always will be my first love.
For a good 10 years of my life Spring always meant knee high socks, upredictable weather, the smell of new baseballs and the sting in the palm of my hand during those first few days of practice.
I miss those days emmensely and while things have changed, I'm glad I'm still able to be apart of it all by recording history of those call it their day job. They swing a bat for a living, and I push a button.
If you ask me, you can't go wrong either way.
The above is my favorite from my first game of the season and while game action is a dime a dozen, I'll take it.
