APAD 54: Run Forest, run

"University's Kaleb Greenwood (3) charges toward the front of the pack during the Class 3A 3200 meter run during the CHSAA track and field championships at Dutch Clark Stadium in Pueblo, Colo. on May 16, 2008. Greenwood dominated the last lap to take home the title."

I shot a LOT of track today. Oddly enough it was my first time shooting track and I had a pretty easy job doing it a guy who is selling photos to the parents. It was a really long day, in Pueblo at that, and it wasn't terribly exciting but it sure beats a day at a desk starring at a computer screen.

Afterwards Barry and his son took me out to dinner at 3 Margaritas for a great meal. I'll never turn down fajitas and a beer, no matter what city I'm in. We have yet another long day ahead of us so I'm going to actually make it to bed before midnight for the first time in nearly two months. This blog hasn't been the greatest influence on my sleeping schedule.

One of the girls that I studied abroad in Rome with is in Denver for a few days so I can't wait to get back to Denver and party it up after another day of track and field. It should be a hot one (80+) and I'm really not looking forward to sitting on the hot, rubber artificial turf all day but hey I never said that being a photographer was easy.
